Broadwood Loch (Cumbernauld)

I varied today's walk by going to Broadwood Loch at Cumbernauld; I usually go to Colzium or along the canal paths. The "round loch" trail is about 5k steps which is about my limit at the moment. It was a perfect day for walking, clear blue sky, sunshine and very little wind and a temperature of 5C. This is the best strip of water in the area for wintering birds; today there was a large group of Mute Swans plus Mallard, Wigeon, Coot, Tufted Duck, Moorhen, Gulls, Canada Goose plus a few Cormorant. There is a good track all the way so easy walking and you can park at the side of the road leading to the football stadium. Some photos:
