A week in Oban, Part 4: Dun Uabairich and Isle of Kerrera

Where: Dun Uabairich, 88m/289', P 31m, Tump, OS 49, NM 835 281

 

I had decided to go over to Kerrera for another walk there. There was a Tump, Dun Uabairich, above the ferry terminal on the Oban side of the Sound of Kerrera and time to spare before the first ferry of the day. To make it easier still, there was a track and then a path. The highest point was right on the edge of the cliff, another fantastic viewpoint.

 

Looking across the Sound to the ferry terminal on Kerrera from part way up.....

Then we went to Kerrera and had tea and scones in the tearoom.....
